What is the use for the title attribute? Beside the use as shown in this video.

What is the use for the title attribute? Beside the use as shown in this video.

So I can use it in css with attr(), but is the only use of title ?

There's also another use case for disabled people where a special software can read them titles or alt descriptions, for example, in order to provide accessibility to the webpage.

Also I think it has to do something with a better SEO.

Hi Kasper,

The main use of title, that I'm aware of, is as a tool-tip. When hovered over, the element will display a message with the title's value. This is useful when a Web page uses icons with symbols, to help explain the purpose of the icon.
