What <pre></pre> is doing? For example, if i dont use it than when i type \n command i can not go to the next line.

<pre></pre>

It is the HTML tag for pre-formatted text. If you put a newline character \n in your "pre" tags, then it will be parsed as a new line. Otherwise, it will be ignored by HTML.
