What tool can be used to see design work in a different resolution?

The Treehouse Show covered a tool that allows people with awesome displays to see their work in poor displays.

I guess resolution is the wrong word. My designers have retina displays and I don't. I want them to be able to see how their work will look to most of our users.

Use "Low Resolution" mode in the program you want to see in a more normal resolution to what most people may have/use.

Or you could just set you monitor resolution in half or around 1680x1050.

Not sure if you're still fallowing this but I think this is what you where looking for, a quick toggle app to go to SD and HD resolutions.
