So I found out that trying to complete as many videos as I can within a span of a couple of hours is a VERY bad idea. I was forgetting a lot.
Today I asked TeamTreehouse to reset my progress, so I can start again.
Could I please how some guidance on the best way to study and retain information? Also, how many videos should I watch before giving it a rest and studying the material I have?

11,186 PointsI usually study for around 15-60mins depending on how I'm feeling.
But what I find helpful, especially with a busy schedule, is doing 1 section of a course per day. This gives me time to practice what I learned and not being burnt out on new material.
This also gives me time to add what I learned to my own projects.

Supplement your Team Treehouse education with other sources.
Writing code helps you learn. Try playing codingame.com and compete against other computer programmers. Also, codingame.com has lots of challenges to solve.
CodeAbbey.com, CodingBat.com, and related sites offer problems to practice coding.
Also, Google topics and watch YouTube videos on those topics.
Textbooks also help by presenting information and providing problems to solve.
