What's the problem with my code

Please give me hints

    upperstr = arg.upper()
    lowerstr = arg.lower()
    length = len(list(arg))
    newlist = lowerstr[:length%2] + upperstr[length%2:]

You're using the modulus operator when you want to be dividing. (And when you do divide, make sure you end up with an integer)
