What's the purpose of the 'Introduction to Design' quiz questions?

They seem to be a lot like trivia questions rather than testing the understanding of the core concepts discussed in the video.

For example, is it important to know the order of Dieter Rams' 'Ten Principles'? In fast-talking clips packed with detail, why should a learner recall that Paul Rand designed the IBM logo?

My guess is the structure of a Treehouse course requires a quiz after each video, and because the video was mostly about history rather than design concepts, the quiz was more of a trivia quiz than a quiz on design theory. I share your sentiment also, I felt the same when I did the quiz too.

If you are serious about becoming a designer, you should have some basic knowledge of the design history but yes, you probably won't need it for the future! They are just trying to drip feed you some! :)
