When does it work

at the beginning of this chapter, Tomer gives out examples of relevant interview questions. If I take the first example: 'walk me through your day. Let's take yesterday as an example'

Can this type of question help uncover behavior that is relevant only to a vey small segment of a user's day? what if he doesn't mention it?
