Try to press the "ins" or "insert " key on your keyboard and that should fix that problem.
Let me know if it worked !

1,311 PointsI am using an Acer Chromebook 11. There does not appear to be a 'ins,' key on my keyboard however I just now switched to overwrite. Does anyone know how to switch away from this wretched mode?
