When typing chown mike hello.txt, I keep getting, "Cannot access 'hello.txt': No such file or directory

Can someone tell me what I need to do in order to stop getting this message?

Are you in the correct directory? If you use the "ls" command, is "hello.txt" in the list of files that shows up?

If no, you will have to navigate your shell to the correct directory where you have "hello.txt", or use "touch hello.txt" to create it in the current working directory.
