4,725 PointsWhen using vagrant up command on windows i am getting the following error. "couldnt open file Users/Alex/base"
Getting an error when trying to use the vagrant up command on my windows 8.1 machine. Everything seemed to work fine throughout the laravel installation till i reached this stage. Anyone else have a similar error?

3,394 PointsI had a similar problem. After a while I figured out that I had started vagrant up in the wrong folder. After switching to the treehouse folder I had no problems to run vagrant. Hope this will help you.
One remark: I don't use windows nor have I install laravel. Just install a (treehouse) VM to use ruby.

22,986 PointsLaravel Homestead and Vagrant instructions have been updated since the Treehouse tutorial was released. I've got a feeling the laravel homestead instructions on the website have been updated recently - might be worth taking a look. I've seen others on the forum struggle with the same problems - so a quick search might dig up some other answers.
