Whenever I drag anything from the pallet onto the design view, as soon as I let go of it, it flies back to the top.

I can fix this by manually adding properties such as "layout_centerHorizontal" in the XML view, but this is different to the video where Ben is able to get it to stay in place using the design view alone.
