Where do I put mBarsCount++;

I think the while loop is ok but now it says I have to use the increment mBarsCount++; Is there a hint so I can think out where to put it?

Thanks a lot!

GoKart.java
public class GoKart {
  public static final int MAX_ENERGY_BARS = 8;
  private String mColor;
  private int mBarsCount;

  public GoKart(String color) {
    mColor = color;
    mBarsCount = 0;
  }

  public String getColor() {
    return mColor;
  }

  public void charge() {
    mBarsCount = MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
  }

  public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
    return mBarsCount == 0;
  }

  public boolean isFullyCharged() {

    while(!isFullyCharged()) {

    }

    return mBarsCount == MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
  }

}

My mistake. You actually need to leave the isFullyCharged method as it is and do the while loop inside the charge since this is where the charging will take place. You reference the other method with the while loop and add to the counter variable.

  public void charge() {
   while(!isFullyCharged()) {
     mBarsCount++;
   }
  }

Hi Herbert,

You're actually very nearly there. As the challenge suggests you want to be able to add charge to the GoKart while the kart is not fully charged. You charge it in increments of one until it is fully charged.

 public boolean isFullyCharged() {

    while(!isFullyCharged()) {
        mBarsCount++;
    }

    return mBarsCount == MAX_ENERGY_BARS;
  }

So the code in the while loop executes while that condition is in place but only when that condition is in place.

Thanks, I understand it now, but it still doesn't work. There is no compilation error, it just says 'Bummer'
