Which books should I buy for learning HTML/CSS/PHP?

Hey. So if you have a little look at my Treehouse profile you'll see I have lots of points in JavaScript, HTML, CSS and just recently PHP. You can probably guess I'm interested in front and back end web development. I learn well from Treehouses' videos and lessons, and I create my own little projects for practice, however I also learn well from reading books.

I've had a look on Amazon and there's a lot of books regarding PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, pretty much every language on earth, actually. I'm not sure which one to go for, and should I look out for the publication date also? Will older books be out of date, or will they still be relevant? As you can tell I'm pretty confused as to which books to buy, and need a few pointers or maybe even recommendations as I'm sure at least a few of you have books of your own. Thank you.

Hey Matthew I was also wondering about books, and was searching around on the Treehouse community/blog and found this article http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/25-programming-books-for-the-aspiring-developer

Would be great if you could leave a reply with any good books you have come across too. Cheers!

There's a book on Amazon I bought, "Learn PHP in 24 hours or less". I wouldn't say it's the best book, but if you're really new it's great to get familiar with the absolute basics. It covers things such as variables, conditionals, functions, GET and POST, and a small bit of object-orientated programming.
