Which coding language for project

Hi, I am doing an art project and I wanted to know what the best coding language is to use for it. Basically, the person would click on a picture of a balloon then when they click on it the balloon would pop and then some text would appear. Could I do this with java script? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Melissa

I would probably use Javascript with HTML5 Canvas for that.

Yes! JavaScript will do fine.
Especially jQuery might be just to your liking — with its explode effect: http://api.jqueryui.com/explode-effect/

Make sure you check Andrew Chalkley’s courses.

But you can also try doing this with just CSS animation :-)
