Which track should I follow to be a professional web designer?

Roughly, I finished the web design track of mr nick and I started to learn css coarse of mr guil but when I started to make a test and design another website using mr nick methods I found that I don't know when I should use padding, margins .. etc and I get disappointed :( although I understood the html well .. Also, should I use Dreamweaver as I have some basics from a coarse at college ?? or use a text editor ??

  • one of the confused things : I learnt before to define the divs at the beginning of my website but mr nick defines the divs and IDs during designing ..

Thanks

Try the front-end web development track. Through that track you'll learn a lot about HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. By the time you finish, you should find yourself quite confident when it comes to building your own website. In terms of text editor, I don't recommend Abobe Dreamweaver. It's completely unnecessary, and rather expensive. The most recent Sublime Text should work just fine.
