Which tracks should I take? Advice needed

Hello there,

I would like to know what is the right track to take to learn coding.

I want to be able to create a community platform where everyone shares content on it, similar to a social network.

I am qualified in digital marketing, design and user experience but would like to now start developing such apps and platforms my self.

Can you guide me?

From what I've heard and read, PHP is a good language to learn for websites. It's a back-end programming language that a lot of different websites run on, like Facebook and Wikipedia. I'm not an expert or anything on which languages are best for what, but I'm learning PHP to be a web developer and this is what I've learned so far about what it's good for.
