Who is finding their first payed projects?

Just wondering how long it has taken some to start their careers in programming and what steps did you take.

This is a good one, i am wondering to...i don't see to many people at the treehouse show where are invited actual ex-students, there is some commercials when you register the first time but that's it, at list some positive feedback videos...

I have been searching on youtube, and a lot of vloggers claim to have had used treehouse in the past. I would just like to find a small community of ex or current students for support instead of just this inside forum.

There are a few but the ones I follow is "chris the freelancer" and "chris sean". according to them they started at treehouse and moved over to other sites after knowing what they wanted to pursue in the field.
