Why can't I run the debug process as ben does in the video ?

hi,

I follow the ben's process step by step for making the inquiry as to the jsonObject currently, however when i start the debug process all i got in the debugger is a message:

Connected to the target VM, address: `localhost:8611', transport: 'socket'

what i understood instead of this i should visualize the variable's display and then check if my code is running smoothly.
