Why can't I upload files to my 'work space' area?

I'm new here and I've just started to learn about making websites! I'm trying to upload some files I downloaded here into my 'work space' area but when I drag a file to upload into the area, nothing happens! I just get a view of the image trying to upload with a spinning circle like as if it is trying to upload. Please help!

Thank you!

The only thing I can think of is to make sure you're dragging a single file with an extension and not accidentally grabbing the zip file.

If you're doing that and it's still not working, email the support staff. You can find their email through the support menu option.

Thank you Roy!

Yes definitely uploading even just one image file (e.g. .png file) from the project files I downloaded. I also checked the 'questions' area in https://teamtreehouse.com/library/how-to-make-a-website/creating-html-content/structure-the-image-gallery and it seems most people are having the same issue.

I'll contact support! Thanks again for your time!

When you take out the files from your zip file. Place it on your desktop, than grab it from your desktop and drag it to the work space. This happened to me. This was what I did and it worked. Don't directly grab it from the zip file to the work space.
