Python Python Basics Functions and Looping Raising Exceptions

why does Craig choose to raise an exception of type "ValueError" in the split_check() function?

i thought values less than 1 (like 0) resulted in a "ZeroDivisionError"?

Performing an invalid division would generate an exception automatically. But before even trying the math, this code is detecting that a wrong value was entered, so "ValueError" is a more appropriate type.
