why is <li><a href="menu.html">menu</a><li> not working

the code i typed does not work

Looks like you lowercased "menu" between the tags. Capitalize it again and you should be good to go.

Just a friendly tip: when learning to program assume everything is case-sensitive. This includes not only your code but even file names. :sparkles:
