Why is my code for this Function question wrong?

I am asked to create a function and name it "returnValue", and place anything I want in the parameter area. Then, it asks me to immediately return the value. Thanks for everyone's help.

Just a minor syntax error. You've placed a semicolon the function parentheses where there doesn't need to be one. in functions the {} comes immediately after the parentheses.

function returnValue(monkeys) {
  return monkeys;
}
