Why use directory.FullName in the Combine method?

For the path combine method the directory.FullName was used along with the name of the file. As I can see currentDirectory == directory.FullName . Is there any reason why you use directory.FullName instead of currentyDirectory()?

If you provide a link to the course page it might help in giving a more specific answer. But offhand, it seems that it would be more efficient to use a property of an already-populated object than to call a method to get the same data.
