1,006 PointsWhy when i have a group selected and try to move all the layers around together does it only move the item i click on?
In Photoshop, I have selected the Group that all the layers are in. Yet when i then go to use the Move Tool on the screen it automatically selects back to the layer for the object I click on, and moves the graphic in that specific layer only. Its it due to the fact i'm using CS6?

18,938 PointsAre you sure that all your layers are actually in the group? I just set up a group and layers and then used the hand tool and move tool...and it worked fine.
There is a toggle button on the top left toolbar that says "auto select". It will automatically select the layer closest to the object that you are selecting if you have it checked. If you have your layers in the group folder and you select an item it will automatically select the group layer. Try checking that toggle and then selecting an object in your group. View your layers panel and see if it selects that object or the group folder.

5,154 PointsHi there!!! It sounds like you have activated the automatic layer selection.
On the top of your photoshop screen at the left-top corner, there is a little "check box" that says "Select Automatic". If you have that checked, uncheck it ;)

22,107 PointsI'm not sure what's the problem but did you select all the layers?
That way you can move many objects the same time.
