Will Treehouse Offer a Computer Science Course?

Just curious. :) Everything I've learned on Treehouse has just made sense. I'd really like to learn more about:

  • Data Structures (how to design them. E.g., linked list, trees, graphs, etc)
  • Algorithms / Sorting
  • Programming Math (I kind of understand Big-O but I don't understand how to use the Master Theorem. I'm going back through College Algebra now and planning to do Trig, Calc I, and Discrete)

If treehouse taught it, I know it would make far more sense than any other source out there that I've been using

I agree that I'd love to see this, and I'm just a student, so I don't know if it's being internally planned, but it doesn't look like it's on the content roadmap

This crossed my mind while I posted, but I had no clue how to get to them. Thanks for the link! The real question, though, is what board to add this on? The only one that feels like a solid enough fit on that list is "Digital Literacy", but that board apparently 404s now

I'm not sure. I tried to follow the instructions to send my suggestions to joel craft's email but it bounced back. So I just made a comment at the bottom of the thread and tagged the OP, because something seems to be broken.

I put this thread into the moderators' Slack team a little while ago, where there's lots of actual Treehouse staff that watches what's going on

We do plan on creating some algorithm and data structure content in 2018. Jay McGavren has it on his list of priorities. It's helpful to know what you all are looking for, so thanks for making this post!

Brendan Whiting , I see your other post and will follow up over there about boards. ?
