Working remotely as an Entry-Level Developer

Hello everyone,

so I'm pretty new to programming. Since my husband and I recently moved to the US, and I am a mother of two toddlers, I decided to look into a field that would allow me to work remotely (more time at home, no US work permit required).

It's a career change for me. I've been researching some more and it seems like it might be difficult to land an entry level position from home.

Can anyone offer me some insight? Words of wisdom? Some encouragement? Sucks to be a woman trying to make use of her talents and ambitions!
