It just so happens that some clients have approached me to help them with negociating with the web design compagny they chose to build there new website. And I know I don't know everything, but I'm very creative, I like to innovate, but I have only a basic knowledge to web design. I felt SO insecure about the whole thing. So I went and research their competitor, I analused the problematic web site, but I was stuck on what to tell them. Basically I think it would cost them more to fixe the website problems then to start over. Then I realize that the compagny they have hired is THE top rating cie when we do a search on web design and our city. Who was I to critisize their work.
Then in preparation, I saw your presentation skills videos, and the LAST thing you sais hit home for me : If they asked me, they already believe in me!!! What a marvelously great peice of advice!!! I now will go see them on monday with much more confidence in me!! I'll let you know if I got the contract!

5,772 PointsSo I did my power point, And since I know they don't have time for anything, especialy not for hearing me talk, I sent it to them early this morning. It was very explicit and full of great image. And of course my solutions were accepted in whole! So even though they have a web compagny who will code the web site, I get to design it. Give it more structure, and take care of the newsletter section!
I would not have thought to make a presentation to pitch an idea to potential client before I watch this video!

2 years ago, I went to school to learn web design, but due to financial reasons, I had to quit before I finished the degree. So eventhough I was very good, and I liked it a lot, I was traped not knowing enough to do the job.
I've been with you for 3 months, and I found a job as webdesigner and graphic designer part time. I do classes here at night, to be able to do my job the next day! It is a bit stressfull right now, because my knowledge is not at the level I wished it to be, but its getting there, thanks to you!
And it is so affordable !
