19,746 PointsThe method that you need to use to check the File is exists() which will return a boolean that indicates whether the file is found. For this code challenge you only want to write to the file if the file does not exist so adding the "!" operator before exists() allows you to test this. I had trouble understanding what to wrap the if statement around but the following ended up working for me.

FileOutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(fileToWrite);
copyResult = copyFile(in, out);
} catch(FileNotFoundException e) {
