Xcode 8 with current Treehouse courses

Hi everyone, since Xcode 8 is out now and that's the version i have. Will i still be able to work along with the current courses?

Hi Derrick Codlyn,

As Xcode 8 implements Swift 3, there will be breaking changes that may prevent you following along 1:1 with the Treehouse courses, it's best to use the same version of Xcode as the teacher which will ensure you're using the same compiler for Swift.

So i should downgrade back to Xcode 7.3.1?

Yep, you will be able to follow the courses normally with Xcode 7.
